Magna awards a total of EUR 20,000 in prize money for master/diploma theses and innovations in the field of automotive engineering.
In commemoration of Austrian automotive pioneer Johann Puch, Magna donates prizes foroutstanding innovations and scientific papers in the field of automotive engineering and manufacturing every year.
The award is endowed with a total prize money of EUR 20,000.
Two juries consisting of high-ranking representatives of Austrian universities, industry, Automotive Clusters and Magna determine the three best submissions in the following two categories:
Master/diploma theses on automotive engineering and manufacturing subjects, approved in 2017.
“Open Innovation”: new products, processes or methods in the field of automotive engineering and manufacturing developed to the proof of practical feasibility stage by 2017.
Closing date for submissions: April 2nd, 2018.
