Two researchers from our Faculty also participated in the kick-off meeting of the Horizon Europe project in Brussels

The metaCCAZE (Flexibly adapted MetaInnovations, use cases, collaborative business and governance models to accelerate shared Zero Emission mobility for passengers and freight) project has been started in 2024, and the kick-off meeting of the project took place in Brussels, where Domokos Esztergár-Kiss and Attila Aba represented the Department of Transport Technology and Economics.

We are very happy to be part of this project, which is a flagship Horizon Europe project aiming to accelerate the user-centred deployment of smart systems and services across European cities. The project organizes a series of activities with multisector stakeholders and different population groups to develop shared zero-emission mobility use cases, collaborative business, and governance models. We will support the development of a multimodal journey planner with additional user awareness parameters and activity chain optimization to reduce CO2 emissions.
