The Department of Material Handling and Logistics Systems at BME KJK organized a summer school on logistics for South Korean students.
At the end of July, students from the Department of International Logistics at Chung-Ang University in South Korea visited the Department of Materials Handling and Logistics Systems at BME in Budapest to participate in a logistics-themed summer university program as part of the CAU Global Study Abroad Program, jointly organized by CAU and BME KJK ALRT.

wenty students arrived for the program, accompanied by the head of the department, Dr. Sanggyun Kang. As part of the summer program, students attended logistics-themed lectures on three consecutive mornings, followed by professional visits in the afternoons and cultural activities. The professional visits were hosted by the Hajtás Pajtás bike courier service, Budapest Market Halls., the MAHART Container Center, and the BME ALRT Logistics Laboratory. On the fourth day of the program, the South Korean students worked on their independent projects, and the student teams presented their results on the final day of the summer university.
On behalf of the BME ALRT, Dr. Krisztián Bóna, head of department and associate professor; Dr. Dávid Lajos Sárdi, assistant professor; Judit Püski, administrator; and Zalán Tiborc Uglik, departmental engineering intern, were responsible for organizing the program. In addition to them, Dr. Gábor Kovács, deputy head of department, Dr. Gábor Bohács, senior research fellow, and Ádám Tóth, department engineer, assisted in organizing the professional programs, while Loránd Császár, teaching assistant, and Tímea Rácz, a BSc student, accompanied the South Korean students.
