Péter Gáspár was elected as a corresponding member of MTA

The Gaspar PeterAcademic Assembly of MTA (Hungarian Academy of Sciences) has been elected its new members.

Péter Gáspár, who is the head of department of  Control for Transportation and Vehicle Systems, was elected as a corresponding member of MTA. He will participate in the work of the Section of Engineering Sciences.


TDK Tender

The BME Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering wrote out a tender for the full time students of the BSc, MSc and PHD  courses.

The subject of the tender: A one time financial support for a quality work presentation on the BME KJK TDK conference, which should be later presented on a TDK related domestic or international conference. The prize of the tender needs to cover  the expenses related to the publication of the material and/or the conference.

Prize of the tender: 250.000 HUF

Visegrad Strategic Project workshop

Our Faculty is participating in the first workshop of a Visegrad Strategic Project: “Transport Integration for Prosperity. The Importance of Rail Connections for the V4 Internal Cohesion”.

The project aims for harmonisation of V4 transportation policies. It will enable the improvement of coordination of this policy and also the improvement of cross border connections.

Visegrad Fund

The BME Faculty’s running team that consists of staff members has finished as the 79th team out of 900 in the K&H  maraton race. The 42km distance has been absolved in 3 hours and 39 minutes. Our challenger the Transportation Faculty of the SZE Győr university finished behind us.
